Snoopy’s whole character is slightly bittersweet. But he’s an incredibly strong character. He can get or reduce, be a catastrophe, a hero, or anything, and nonetheless all of it functions out. I like The point that when he’s in serious difficulties, he can retreat into a fantasy and thus escape. lo
